Kikashima, a California born Japanese-Mexican musical powerhouse, is an artist born of legacy and rebellion. The leader of her eponymous three-piece indie-art-rock trio, Kikashima embodies range, delivering moving power ballads and bangers that weave rock, soul, folk and disco. Based in Philadelphia and Brooklyn, Kikashima has been featured on WXPN's Key Studio Sessions and NPR's Tiny Desk Contest On The Road. With Parker St. Charles on bass, Max Azarmehr on drums, and Kikashima on vocals and guitar, the trio creates a sound that equals more than the sum of its parts, blowing audiences away at beloved venues such a Johnny Brenda's, Milkboy, Ortlieb's, and C'mon Everybody (NYC).
